No, Draper was a used car salesman.

Did he bang on about beautiful women, fine wines and Belgian chocolates?

Yes, and I don't doubt Barbed Wire's account.

I imagine the club is probably aware of employment law and is unlikely to sack somebody on the basis of an anonymous comment on an online forum.

He was in the presence of three current members of staff, so I’m sure if they wanted to they could verify the claim.

As I’ve said, nothing against the man. At first, I quite liked the novelty of the cindarella story of going from the ground up, but I think the task is too big, I’m on record for wanting a director or rugby in order to combat this. But, I am shocked at how unprofessional he is, and maybe it is time to identify a strong executive to lead the business.

He was a notorious gob sh @ te as a player

Do I remember him scoring an interception try against us at The Willows? Probably on one of those frequent Bad Fridays.

I'd expect one of either Philbin or Bullock to leave the club, Bullock ended the year pretty well, but maybe Powell see's Bullock as too similar to Kasiano and Mikaele as a low minute impact prop (although personally I'd say the same could be levelled at Philbin).

Bullock was the better of the 2 last year without a doubt, so for me Philbin would be the one to leave, he's been off the boil for 2 years, however I'm sure Powell's decision will also be based on how both fit in to his ethos as much as their performances.

I would have thought offloading a prop would be fairly easy, they seem in pretty high demand right now, I'd be surprised if Powell was looking to offload Holmes.

I'd keep Bullock over Philbin every day of the week. He's a good solid prop with good impact and plays good minutes. He's in between a full impact prop, and a long minutes Grafter prop, he's a Hybrid. I don't see how Philbin makes the squad next year to be honest, i can see him being loaned out as he won't make the 17 often. I could be wrong but i genuinely can't see him making the squad.

I posted about Bullock’s alleged contract, before the season started. I had a feeling it wouldn’t go down well, as it didn’t with many posters on this forum that couldn’t imagine he is on such a big contract.
I found it hard to believe myself. “Listening to gossip down the pub”, wether that should have died out a decade ago or more, is the very stuff with opinion that fuels 99% of what’s said on the forum.
RLfans would be a bore off with the 1%ers.

I seldom bother posting now because of the bullying and trolling, yet I do read a bit to find I’m living rent free in some posters heads, and probably the ones that want me off here.

Back on topic, Bullock…
Bottom line is, to walk away from ‘the biggest club on RL’ to perennial flops, isn’t going to be over buttons, is it?

I wouldn't know what Bullock, or any other players earnings are. I'd only speculate that he'd be on squad filler rates, or maybe a bit more, on the basis that he was well and truly out of favour at Wigan and unlikely to get much 1st team gametime. I'd be in that group that couldn't imagine that he'd be on a big contract, but wouldn't have any knowledge as to whether that was true or not.

the thought was that he was on the outers at wigan as he had signed with us, thats why he didn't get selected, but he could only do that if wigan had given him permission to talk to other clubs cos they weren't keepking him
