He’s already missing out on playoff rugby, and a regular spot in a top three side

It must be nice to say that. Huddersfield have had a cracking season.

I would not be surprised to see Holmes at left second row and Currie at left centre at the start of next season. Harrison or Nicholson at right second row alongside Matautia.

I'd like to see Holmes back on the left, i've said it before but he's been one of my favourite second rowers for years. And i hope he gets back to his best next year as he'd be awesome for us. I wouldn't complain with Currie at left centre at all with Holmes and Ashton either side of him :-)
I’m not all that sold on Wardle, I think offensively he has what Powell wants out there on the left, quick feet, natural centre. But he has issues in his game especially defensively that need ironing out. If he stays he stays, if not I won’t be too concerned- as long as there is another replacement out there - Luetele?

Based on what Powell has said, I can’t see Ratch or Currie at centre, not enough pace

Throw some Money at Luetele for 1 year would be sweet, but i'd still like us to sign another halfback.....if any are out there.....to guide us around (fingers crossed)

So Powell wants him but from reading this it seems Huddersfield are not willing to sell him. This does not make sense because he will be of contract after next season and he can go for free anywhere.

Wigan seem to have him sewn up for 2024. I think that we were expecting Wardle for 2023 until Wigan returned King (hopefully a more mature player under the Wigan culture). Looks like we now need a good centre and fast - we could do worse than Leutele. I wonder why Hudds need Wardle when they've signed Naiqama and retained Cudjoe?
Luther Burrell is available again apparently?

Haven't they also signed bibby from wigan?

Yes, you're right. I guess Bibby could also play wing. It's a bit strange that they want Wardle back if the rumours of a fall-out are true.
So then, reopening the debate... The Giants have just signed Marsters. Surely they'll be letting Wardle go? At least on loan? Signing Naiqama and Marsters suggests they don't want Wardle at all.
