King will be playing on his natural side on the right with Wardle playing on the left I would expect.

Both criticised by their parent clubs fans when moved to the opposite sides from their natural position on the other sides of the pitch.

You don’t go from being a very good prospect like King was to having a dip in form like he did in 21.

Most seem to go with the easy option that this was down to his new contract, I’m more inclined to believe it is due to him being switched sides away from the right.

Most Wigan fans had identified the centre position as the biggest issue within the squad.

I thought that we would need 2 off seasons to resolve that however it seems we may have done it in 1.

Kings natural side is left, he’s played a bit of both in the first team, but I’m sure left was his preference.

I'm not sure where you've heard that we're paying a lot of Kings wages next season, but that isn't true ? Wigan are paying his full wage, although he has taken a pay cut from what he was earning from his Warrington contract.

Didn't think that was possible under salary cap rules, that's the problem we had trying to move ben Harrison on, sl wouldn't let him end his contract and sign for wakey at a lower value

I was gonna say, he's played left side predominantly, other than to accommodate inglis and Goodwin, his best form has always come down the left hand side
It won't take Wigan long to realise King is a bang average player. Huddersfield didn't want him and when his contract is up(no matter who is paying it!)he will probably be back over in Yorkshire playing for Bradford or Halifax.
nah the lardy English teacher will have him eclipsing GI in his pomp - left or right he'll tear up SL with his superior game intelligence.

It is. He's signed for another club for a full season which won't cost anything on our cap. You may be correct about Harrison, but King won't count.

Fair point, I've no idea how it works - I assumed with him being on loan he would still be under his Warrington contract and receiving those wages one way or another. He must've taken a fair old pay cut considering what we were paying him.

Apparently so. But it leaves us with a nice wedge of the cap free'd up for our next signing :WHISPER:

You look at his top 10 tries in SL on YouTube, all but 1 he is playing on the right.
Wasn't he miffed at having to change sides to accommodate Goodwin ?

How many of them are catching a high kick?
