Josh Thewlis is ruled out of the game due to the knee injury he picked up during Saturday's defeat to Catalans Dragons - the severity of which is not yet known - while there is no place in the squad for Josh Charnley or Danny Walker.

Word is JC was dropped and likely still is.

Thought Walker would be the one to spark a bit of life into us when we start to flag.

JC definitely on his way out along with Widdop. If Ratchford goes too that frees up a LOT of cap space for next year. Hope only a small part of that is for Dufty. The last thing we need is another lopsided salary structure that doesn't reflect results or effort.

Not seen much of Luke Thomas. Is he being rewarded for some standout games at prop in the academy/reserves? Same junior club as Cooper, no?

Doesn't surprise me Thewlis is out, he looked to be really struggling on that knee on Saturday, and there hasn't been a great turnaround. I doubt the new kid will get a spot unless there are injury doubts over a few of the props, but good to see a prop coming through the system, don't watch any reserves to know how hes doing...

One change to the Saints squad from the Hull game - still no Grace/Hopoate, sound like they are still a week or two away.

Wouldn't be surprised to see Bell in the halves for Davies and Norman onto the bench.
