It wasn't the result or the crowd, just like the best comedy this week was all about timing as the board's latex soothsayer rubber duckie managed to pick up 14 points, the rest of us were butting our heads against the British Summer Time clock by varying degrees as follows,

And a win seems so far away.

Apologies I missed you plumping for KR
Perhaps a blessing that we didn't paper over the cracks giving Powell a free week for some headbutting as we would've no doubt come unstuck against Wigan who managed to make Wakefield look like Wakefield rather than the 82 touring Kangaroos

Hull KR v Castleford Hull KR by 24
Catalans v St Helens: St. Helens by 16
Huddersfield v Hull FC: Huddersfield by 8
Wakefield v Wigan: Wigan by 30

Fantastic predicting from a limited 'field' sees Wire Weaver bag an impressive 20 points the rest of us weren't quite so with it as follows

A bit of a welcome upturn in fortunes for the P&B with some good performances although I'm not so sure that 'young farmer' Ratchford was the MOM

a) Score and Winning team: Warrington 32 v 18 Salford
b) First try (Wire player): King
c) Time of first try: 8 mins
d) Last try (any team, player not time): Brierley
e) Kicks over the sticks (combined): 7
f) Attendance (500 margin) 8,486

g) Catalans v Toulouse Catalans by 8
Wakefield v Castleford Castleford by 30
Leeds v Huddersfield DRAW
Hull KR v Hull FC Hull KR by 12
St Helens v Wigan St Helens by 18

Obviously no one saw the draw coming at Leeds and the CEO can no doubt feel a little happier with himself that the Thursday night crowd eclipsed what most thought it would be on here. Longbarn gets top marks this week with 'just seventeen' the rest of us didn't compare as follows,.

Well a case of close but no cigar as a resilient Wire succumbed to the ref's best guess and therefore a two point defeat under the current system. CW8 came out on top this week with a dirty dozen correctly backing against the Wire by two, for the rest of us especially Wire Weaver who was pipped, it's better luck next week as follows
