Lachlan Walmsley : Wed Sep 01, 2021 2:09 pm
Apparently he's signed a 3 year with an unknown top super league club.
Could we have potentially picked him up as a replacement for Lineham? Had a look at him and he's quite slender but apparently is doing very well in the championship and he's a goal kicker aswell.
Don't really know anything about him and might have easily signed elsewhere, but has anyone heard anything about him and us maybe?

With that name he must really like dropping to the floor like he's been shot and losing his balance at the play the ball a lot.

I don`t think Ashton has signed a new contract with Wire yet.

His current contact expires at the end of this season.

Haven't seen him play so difficult to comment, it would seem an odd decision given we already have Thewlis more than capable of covering the same positions - Ashton too hopefully if a new deal is agreed. I think we need to bring another outside back in, but I think we need to be looking at a higher level than this based on who is already at the club.

Solomona was a a very low profile signing when Powell signed him.

The acid test for any signing should be whether you can imagine yourself standing on the terraces shouting encouragement to the prospective signing.

Personally, I can barely say "GO ON LACHLAN!!" let alone scream it from the terraces. Mind, I have imbibed a couple of Harvey's already.

The same applies to people with double barrelled names. By the time I'd got my mouth round a roar of encouragement they'd probably have knocked on.

Never been a double barrelled name fan. Complete pain in a cricket scorebook, rugby programme or calling a register at school.
One surname is enough for anyone. It used to be posh but not now.
