Surely a decent chance Walker starts. Clark put in a hell of a shift vs Wigan and Walker has proved himself a capable deputy.

I really hope Price doesn't start making huge fantasy rugby unenforced changes just to accommodate Williams, Ashton, Ratch, Austin etc

Williams and Austin at halves, Ashton in for Akuola, Ratch to FB will suffice.

I just hope he uses all 17 players whoever he picks. Keeping a player on the bench is stupid at the best of times, when games are being played with such a short turnaround it's utter madness!!

Biggest question for me will be if Williams and Austin play in the halves, which side will they be on.
We know at the start of the season we had all the messing around of the centres and wingers switching sides until we have had settled combinations.
So does Williams come in on the right and Austin plays on the left until widdop is back.

I would go with Longstaff starting in the second row and Hughes at 13 in the absence of J Clark and Philbin.

Ashton will have to wait his turn and with philbin out I don't think we can go with Ashton on the bench alongside Williams too. I think it's a game we could give Currie or Hughes a rest too

Would sub Davies for Williams and austin or ratch to loose allowing then for 4 forwards on the bench Davies can cover walker if needed.

Looking forward to this one, given how badly we played against this lot the other week, be keen to see if the mindset has shifted and they'll seek to make amends. Big ask after beating the scum on Wednesday.

For me It's an admission he got the bench selection wrong, if there isn't another player in the squad who could have helped on the day we have something drastically wrong
It irritates me massively.

On this occasion I'm giving the benefit of the doubt to price were just returning from having covid in the camp we don't know who was affected and to what extent ? Maybe he used all players able to play and the rest were not really fit to play but could be named in the squad ? Wigan had an un used sub also I think ?

Surely philbin going off was the time to put wrench in as he didn't I took that as he was not going to be used all game n there has to be a reason to that we are not privy to?
