He hadn't played for a while before coming over here, then he hasn't had chance to train because our training facilities were shut down due to the Covid outbreak. Price has indicated that both Williams and Ashton could come into the frame for the Leeds game. No word on Charnley situation (he looked to have picked up a wrist injury in the last game) and Widdop a little way off returning.

But said it's not Williams. Perhaps waiting to check that Charnley has cleared Covid protocols?

If you think about it, he’s the obvious omission for me if his team mates are c-19 positive.
His missus is pregnant and not allowed the jab, and must shield.
GW will be a risk to her and the unborn child if he is exposed to infection.

Did the club dangle the carrot or has it just been talked about in the local press? Genuine question as I’ve not been on top of the press releases as much recently. Strange times, training seriously affected these past two weeks at the club so unsurprisingl they would leave a call like that as late as possible to see who was 100% ready / able to play. Although can understand your frustrations
