I’d say that Thewlis is 1st choice winger before moving to full back in a year or so.
Apart from a couple of bad games which you would expect from a lad his age, his all round game is far higher than Ashton.
I’ll except Ashton has speed on his side which after 2 bad hamstring injuries he’s got to prove again but after watching Cas play and how they create plays/tries closer to the line do we need someone with raw pace or a better rugby brain?
