You've done very well if you've managed to fit George Williams in on Sita Akuola's contract.
Whilst I'm all for getting more big names into Super League, this will appear very dubious to a lot of people. How on earth do you fit Ratchford, Inglis, Williams, Widdop, Austin, Clark, Hill, Cooper, King and Currie on the same salary cap?
why are you asking fans this question? Like anyone on here is going to have a definitive answer to that. We have a totally unblemished record on the salary cap. I assume, and its only an assumption, that the Warrington financial management team will do their very best for the club whilst operating under the laws of the game. My assumption will remain in place until proven otherwise by those in authority. I will not change my assumption based on some Stains, in-bred mouth-breather mouthing off on RedVee on how unfair it is that Warrington can afford all these players.

Relax.
I've never said it's unfair. For the record I'd remove the cap completely or massively change it to allow home produced players to stay off cap. We need more stars in the competition and we're not going to do that by catering for the little clubs.
Pretty sure we've been told they're not as good as Wigan and Saints squads, so probably on less money. How do Saints fit all those internationals under the cap too?
Well we can't, hence why 8 players might be leaving this year and a few of them going to heady heights of Hull KR and Huddersfield due to cap restraints.

Which is what we are also doing. We've already removed a couple from this years roster to see ifs we can accommodate Williams, so the question probably didn't need to be asked in the first place. And as has been pointed out previously, we haven't got a record of breaking the cap multiple times. It's usually fans of guilty clubs that make the accusations.

Isn't a straight swap, 1 in 1 out though is it. We potentially also have: Cap not fully utilised at the start of the year, Inglis coming off cap (otherwise why announce he had been released, clearly something has been ok'd by the RFL / SL on that score), Sita coming off cap, Latu off cap from the start of the year and not replaced.

Inglis is the big question I guess. If you're allowed to take him off then great, but I was shot down on Twitter for suggesting it might have cap benefits. I was told it didn't but Greg was just a stand up guy and didn't want to burden the club when he wasn't going to contribute. But given the figures those in the know were throwing around about Williams, it's great work if you've managed to fit him in. That would make you favourites in my eye if you can integrate him well and not try to fit them all in at once and disrupt things.

The club were quite clear saying he wasn't coming over on 'marquee money', but he wont have come over for nothing. The medical retirement angle must have been used, otherwise a season ending injury for a player isn't enough to remove them from the cap in normal circumstances. Article below suggests we went in to the season with space on our cap:
Which isn't surprising given our squad numbers from 20 down are 20 Sitaleki Akauola, 21 Rob Butler, 22 Ellis Robson, 23 Josh Thewlis, 24 Riley Dean, 25 Eribe Doro, 26 Ellis Longstaff, 27 Connor Wrench, 28 Nathan Roebuck, 29 Jacob Gannon.
