I have said this on more than one occasion, Twice Fitzpatrick has come out and made statements that Widdop is staying,the first statement he made way back was they have exciting things for Widdop next season or something a long that line,but some are so convinced he is going.

I'd be very happy with this, then after next season Dean gets a season to stake his claim. He can also deputise for either every time there is an injury.

Austin a'd Mamo are worth more to Wire, than Williams imho.
Think Brad Fittler saying Williams had a top game has massively inflated his worth. I would have loved Mamo at Leeds, and we'll happily take Austin off your hands.....

I think what you meant to say was Austin and Mamo staying at Wire is worth more to Leeds.

Anyway, Williams isn't the best half-back ever, and we're probably paying more than he would be worth if there were a bunch of quality half-backs available like there were 10-15 years ago. But there aren't any decent half-backs available, therefore we'll take Williams and pay him what we have to and trust Powell to get the best out of him.

If Leeds can afford Austin's salary take him now. I've enjoyed Austin when he's been on form, but it's time for a fresh challenge for him and Leeds would be the perfect fit.

Williams is a much better half back than Austin.

You obviously haven’t watched Warrington so very closely or Williams for that matter, or your just casting a worm, whichever it is....you are pretty rubbish at it.
