Lots of players only signing one or two year deals. An indication the clubs are unsure how their finances are going to be, and/or what the next t.v. deal will look like?

To be fair. I see the 1 year deals as a chance for Powell to fully evaluate the players signing 1 year extensions. He must think there is something for him to green light the contract extension and look at to see if they fit the mould on what Powell wants to play rugby wise next year.

Its smart. Sign them up. See what Powell thinks and if they fit into the team Powell wants. And decide from there what the decision is.

he has all the qualities needed to be a top level hooker.... he has obviously learn alot from being with Clark... the improvement to his game has been very noticeable.
