So.
Excellent win last night, showing the sort of resilience required to win finals. Hats off to Price, he pulls these performances out of the bag when we are underdogs and it feels great.
The big question now is, can this be a turning point in our mentality or is it just the usual moment of wonder in an otherwise mediocre season?
I guess the next two games will tell us.
It's certainly a season of extreme peaks and troughs, with some great defensive performances against Catalan and Saints, tempered with shockers against Huddersfield and Castleford.
Then there was that weird game with Hull where neither team could find a way to win.
No doubt there will be more of the same as the season unfolds, but we need to be more consistent. As supporters, fans or whatever label we choose, we can't have our cake and eat it by expecting to watch a perfect performance every game, just because we've won at Saints. We've done this many times recently, but haven't got that GF win yet, so expect the unexpected.
Good thing is, that last night points to this season being far from a write off, well not for now, anyway.
