Lets be honest, everybody has a moan at rugby league games. Its what league folk are like. There's nothing unique about our fan base.

I lived in Leeds for 7 years and went to Headingley a lot with Leeds fans. Their moaning was on a different level to Wire fans, either in the South Stand or watching the games in the Skyrack pub. They were annoyed at everything, the coach, the ref, the stadium, the price of beer, the style of play, the overseas imports. They complained about everything. And it wasn't with the kind of ironic, resigned humour that you get from Wire fans, it was bitter anger and negativity. The best was if Gary Schofield was in the pub having a moan about how poop it all was, he would have his circle of acolytes around him agreeing and saying "you get in there Gary and sort em out". This was all in an era where Leeds dominated Super League.
