I think a few weeks ago you’d say that Wigan and Saints stood out as a cut above the rest. But Wigan’s cup result and tonight’s loss, plus Saints last week shows that when they come up against good sides they're not quite as far ahead as people think. I’d still have Saints as favourites for the SL trophy. Not sure about the cup as it might just be Hull’s year for that.

Hull for cup?????they got there arrises handed to them on Friday..be a saints wire final..and saints will be at the euro loser palace for the end of season comp along with wigan

Think Hull won’t be as bad next time, as for us going form we should win BUT we often have brain farts and can throw games away.

IF and it’s a big IF the RFL apply the Lineham principal then J Tompkins with his previous poor disciplinary record should not play for at least 5 matches. Same should apply to Hardaker but we will see......

I think Hull won't be consistent enough to make a challenge on the grand final, but it wouldn't surprise me to see them raise their game next week, and potentially against us if we get past Cas and make it to Wembley. I just think there is less pressure on them, and that usually works out well in Cup Finals (as we discovered losing as favourites and winning as underdogs).

Guess we'll see though. I'd rather face Hull at Wembley than Saints, who will have extra motivation against us after 2019. We need to beat Cas first of course.
