A struggle to get excited for a club that's caused so many issues within the local community & caused upset for participants of other grass roots sports.

Used to play for Rylands ARLFC - many years ago - what has gone on there?

I know there’s been some crap going on, interested in some detail.

Big money owner of the football club came in, threw his weight about, small time bowlers, cricketers, RL players, general membership of the club, couldn't compete & got forced out of the club.

Club is a total shell of what it once was. Give it a few years & it'll have some nice detached homes on there. Just unfortunate that the residents won't have any recreation to enjoy in their spare time.

Officially merged, in reality they took over them, turning Fife Rangers into the Rylands Academy.. it was a merger in the way Hull & Gateshead 'merged'.

Horrible owner, hope they go bust extremely quickly. Got to be some sort of goon surely to post good luck to them on a Warrington rugby league forum given what went on with Rylands Rugby.

What a shame, heard the RL had gone downhill, didn’t realise what else had gone on. Was a cracking club, shame @dallas no need to be quite so judgemental.
