That Harvey Livett looks a good player. We should sign him.

You can split this into a few categories.

1. On an upward trend with us and became stars after leaving: Nigel Vagana, Iestyn Harris, Paul Sculthorpe, Danny Nutley

2. Good for us, and continued to be good but not necessarily better after leaving: Sid Domic, Nick Fozzard, Louis Anderson, Richie Myler

3. Better after they left than we had thought they would be: Michael Eagar, David Kidwell, John Wilshere

4. Had better careers after leaving than they would have done staying with us, but not moves we regret: Ian Knott, Jerome Guisset, Gareth O'Brien, Rhys Williams, Matty Russell, Brad Dwyer, Benjamin Julien

5. Left, improved, and came back: Greg Mackey, Gary Mercer, Mike Wainwright, Mike Cooper, Kevin Penny

Just my opinions unless it's a FACT, in which case it's a fact.

Also for my list I just went off the top of my head from the Super League era. If you went back earlier, you could put Andy Gregory, Phil Blake, Billy McGinty, David Lyon and Allan Bateman in category 2, possibly Francis Maloney too. Other posters with pre-SL memories may add some more.

Ha ha for some really weird reason I got him mixed up with Michael Eagar.

I would also like to Add Nick Fozzard .

I'd have no problem with O'Brien as a cheap utility cover, if Powell wants that. He's worth more than a Latu or Asotasi any day.

Do we need it though? We have fullback cover we have halfback cover. Just unnecessary cap space under current circumstances IMO.

I’d be disappointed to lose Trueman - he’s a very young half with plenty of experience for his age.
But he’s by no means an international-level half-back yet. He might become one, but he might not.
At the moment, he looks great in some games, but anonymous in others. The trouble is that he doesn’t (yet) have many good games against top teams.
As a Cas supporter, if I was picking our best half-back combination, at the moment it would be Richardson and O’Brien.

Brad Dwyer is getting more game time at Leeds, and playing all the better for it
