Should it not really get lineham in charnley out ??

I like what lineham offers he makes good meters returning and makes yards after contact and still gets a quick play the ball. I made get frustrated in the over use of him taking the ball off our line but it should be less frequent now we have a decent rminterchanfe for hill n cooper he gives us size and power close to the libe which thwellis n ashton don't. Charnleys form has dropped byt he is hardly getting the ball.

We should get behind the good enough old enough mentality thwellis and Ashton have both so far shown that they are good enough thwellis's next challenge a will be his response to a bad game or a few mistakes. I see him more as ratchfords successor over the next few seasons as hes a Mich better full back than winger imo.

Thewliss is not a winger so it is quite a compliment to his footballing ability to still be chosen to play. Ashton has been really unlucky with injuries but it will at least provide Thewliss more chance to get game time and preferably in his specialist spot at FB.

I thought Charnley was much better this week. I’m not sure Lineham should displace him.

I don’t think Thewlis will get his chance at FB week in week out unless Inglis gets injured.
But being shifted to the wing at 18 years old to accommodate one of the greatest players of all time is hardly a setback. The important thing is he’s getting regular first team action, and it’s good that Price recognises his quality. I’m sure Inglis will be rested at some point and Thewlis will get the chance to shine at the back.

Injuries usually enable opportunities for those with patience. Thewlis looks a good player and he's done well. I think Lineham is ahead of him as a winger ... even though he is a silly-arse.

That could well be sooner rather than later. A 10 day turn around until Huddersfield but then only 4 days before we meet Castleford.

Both teams have the same challenge but it's a massive ask for the Full Back. A lot could depend upon Ratchford's injury.

Competition for places is a problem, but one of the best to have to deal with.
Being able to competently cover more than one position is very useful in gaining match day selection, well played JT, look forward to your next appearance.

I heard SP on the radio yesterday saying he was reasonably sure that Ratch will be OK for the next game. He reckoned that he could have played but having Austin in the warm-up prompted him to make the change. Rob Mulhern has a thigh injury which is of concern.
