Club as confirmed Ryan Sheridan,Danny Evans and Steve Mills will be joining D.Powell for next season.

Great stuff. No need for transitions and adaptations off the field then. Just a case of seeing which players want to buy into Powell’s way of thinking.

Especially happy for Mills and Rovers.

Interestingly, I didn’t realise that it’s Sheridan who looks after the attack, with Powell focusing on the defence. So it would seem from a video clip about Mills’ analysis role.

I heard in an old interview that Danny Orr looked after their defence (before he left for Salford), so I assume Powell will work with both.

Getting to be like football.
Part of the deal is that the coach brings his team with him.
Adi Gardner and Kyle Lueleui still with us I presume.

I see on the Cas board that they think it's just a matter of time before Watts moves because of previous fall outs with Radford.
I'd have Watts as a proven forward to give us strength in depth - especially as Hill and Coops cant go on for more than a couple of years.

Great move Just found out Adam Milner is off contact at the end of the year, starting 13 would be a great signing

I think I’d rather have Hughes than Milner at 13.

We seem to be linked to every player on Cas’ books at the minute. Trueman, Watts, McShane and Mata'utia I’d take, but the first 3 are under contract and I think it would take a significant fee £200k+ to get each of them, I don’t think we’ll throw that kind of cash around to be honest, and while I’m sure Cas need the cash like all clubs do, anymore Cas personnel moving over and the fans will be seriously disengaged.

Trueman will do.

With the amount of players off contract and Austin going we'll have some money to throw around. I'd be happy with Mata'utia coming in at right centre, i think that one will happen. And Trueman i think we will be able to get, But i think Watts and Mcshane will stay at cas.

If we keep Lineham i'm hoping Powell can straighten him out as i think Lineham is a brilliant winger when he wants to be, but the constant suspensions through stupid stuff is beyond a joke now.

Can’t argue with any of that.

I just wonder whether Hill would like a swan song at Leigh before he retires, they might be tempted to offer him a length of deal we’re not prepared to. Started the season well though I think Hill, taking the captaincy off him has done wonders.
