I'm confused with why Warrington are playing Huddersfield and not Hull KR as the loser of 2nd v 3rd was meant to play the winner of 6th vs 7th as per this article: http://www.examiner.co.uk/huddersfield- ... -27082547/ What is going on?

Highest ranked team (Wigan) played the lowest ranked team (Hull KR).

Incorrect. The highest placed loser of the top 4 teams faces the lowest placed winner of 5th-8th. The other game is the 2 remaining teams. Highest placed team always plays at home

Because Wigan finished higher than us they get to play the lowest ranked side which is Hull KR so we are left with the highest rank.

Id much rather play Hudds than KR,no dis respect the Hudds as they have won 6 on the bounce (i think) so are a threat but KR were outstaning on saturday,really do think they could upset wigan.

Both are dangerous.

Hull KR have Dobson, Galea, Newton, Vella, Murrell. Their back line always does well against us too.

Hudds have those nasty dummy half runners who kill us - Robinson, Lunt, Faiumu - Brough's kicking could too.

Overall, I think we are better equipped to beat Huddersfield who I think we have learned to boss in the middle of the park.

I'd rather play Huddersfield.
25-16 in what was arguebly the most important game for Warrington in the last 30 odd years.
14-10 in the league at there place. Without Briers and myler that day IIRC.
60-4 in the cup at there place.
36-20 at the HJ in the league.

Still, it's the play off's and anything can happen.
