I think you're being far too kind. He was barely a threat. Wigan haven't got a clue how to use him effectively.

As for Mathers - looks like we've got the Leeds version If he keeps this up it could be a storming bit of business by Smith.

Gleeson completely jessied out of tonight's contest. Some Wigan players toughed it out and put their bodies on the line. Gleeson wasn't one of them.

Mathers - 9

Mathers 8.5. Good solid game, strong in defence and ran the ball back well. Also ran some nice support lines when attacking their line.
Gleeson 6. Didn't spot any errors in defence but not much of a threat going forward. Didn't get a great amount of ball though.
