The Wigan Penalty Machine : Fri May 22, 2009 9:30 pm
Have to say a big thank you to Wigan, I thought we were right up against it in the opening 20 but penalty after penalty our momentum got going.

Second half we cut the silly errors out and our pack bossed the show again letting Monas and Briers do the creative work similar to last week.

Anyone know the penalty count?

Well done Wire

He was correct though, Wire played the game to their advantage and we let ourselves down on far to many occasions. Nothing the ref can do much more really, we had enough chances to win the game but wasn't clinical enough in attack and Wires defence was on top all through the game.

Maybe you should stop all the messing around at the play the ball then. Also the amount of forward passes u made tonight and got away with must have set some kind of record.

I thought that was one of Wigans best/better performances at HJ. Your defence in the first half has excellent, good line defence when we had your backs to the wall. When Moz and Gaz came on in the second half, we took control and both props layed the platform. Saying that, Landerson was good second half i thought, running at Gleeson every drive, good on him!

Thanks for that. If that's correct it was quite a disciplined performance from us then, thought Wigan gave a way more tbh but I'm not complainng

How did Wigan not get a player binned, and somebody should tell Forshaw next time he's playing to put the correct kit on, he was better than Fielden though.
