Dave received a 10 match ban I believe.

I have to say, reading that story, it was nothing more than a rugby league fight. Just like we have every now and then down at the HJ.

Blown a bit out of proportion in my opinion.

Head Butting, especially one with serious intent goes much much too far.

Its only a game for gawd sake.

For someone to do that and receive a criminal record and possibly worse is just beyond reason. He is a very silly silly boy.

Rugby League is supposed to be a hard mans game.

As I said after the Champions League Final last year, if Drogba had slapped someone like that on a rugby pitch, he'd have been run out of the game for being a wuss.

Anyway back to topic, i know David quite well, he's not a bad player on or off the pitch and it's quite well known that they punish amateur players with heavier bans than they do Professionals.

It this would have happened at Wigan V St.Helens it wouldn't be going to court.
