Do the players have a say in this situation

What i mean to say is that if Wigan offered the same deal and Mathers said he didn't want to come and wouldn't agree any personal terms, would the deal be back to square one or would the player be forced to move as the club hold his contract.

Wouldn't it be great if just one player told the truth

The only reason is that we have TS as coach and i really do think he'll get Mathers form back from his Leeds days

Mathers was released from his contract ,he wasn't part of the deal ,we just took up his contract because TS decided it would be a good move ,the Gleeson transfer was a cash only deal .

You know what? His attitude of fthe field and how he applies himself around the club may be worth its weight in gold to us. From all accounts, his willingness to train and display the right attitude has been well documented and can only be a good thing for us at the moment regardless whether he plays or not yet.

Lets not write the guy off yet before hes took to the field.
