R.L. T.V. Coverage over the years. : Tue Mar 31, 2009 7:50 pm
Who remembers when Sky first started covering R.L.?
I think they first started showing games at 6 on a Sunday...(Leeds and Hull away stand out as great wins for Wire at that time)

I think sky also recorded games 3pm and shown them later that night..

And many years ago towards the end of the season Stones Bitter Championship games on a Saturday covered by I.T.V. with Clive Tyldesey as the commentator..

Who remembers Sportscast and Live T.V.?

In the days of the Regal Trophy R.L. got loads of Coverage on the B.B.C..

Those were the days..

I'd love it if a huge backer came in and put us on Terrestrial TV

Maybe more people would get to see our game rather than the over exposed yawn a minute wrestling match they call union.
