To be fair the club should never have put Lowes in that position in the first place.

Fair play to him for giving it a go, you cant criticise him for that.

Smith had a similar remit to bring on daryl powell for the Rhinos - you have nothing to worry about.

To some extent I feel for Lowes, it was a knee jerk appointing him the first place. As we tried to approach Smith ahead of giving Lowes another year, he was always going to be a stop gap rather than long term, merely keeping the seat warm for Smith or someone like that.

I'm glad the club managed in the end to get thier fingers out of their bottoms and appoint Smith. Hopefully the anger towards Lowes will settle down and under Tony Smith he will become a better coach for Warrington.

Exactly. Lowes clearly wasn't ready for the pressures of SL and under Smith he will learn his trade and learn it well. If, in two and a half years time Smith has/if forced to leave then I think I will be happier with Lowes in charge.
