Kissing Zone : Sun Feb 22, 2009 12:13 am
Well they were right about the HJ being a Kissing Zone, seeing as we've probably just kissed goodbye to a few hundred more supporters who won't be going back there in a hurry.
There seem to be some very deep-rooted problems at the moment, and I'm fearful of where the club is heading. For years now we've trotted out new signings who have said things along the lines of "Warrington's a club that's going places" but is that really true any more?
With the exception of the good youth recruitment work being done by John Bastian and Peter Farrell, the club appears to be an unprofessional shambles from top to bottom. The spirit just doesn't seem to be there, as exemplified by our goal-line defence. Every time a team's in our 20, they look like they're going to walk in, because we don't have the desire, intensity, fight - whatever you want to call it - to keep them out.
So much needs to be changed, it's hard to know where to begin.
