On a slightly different note ive had a text this morning from a friend of mine who lives in St Helens.

He is not a massive RL fan but knows a few of the players.

Anyway his text said that Martin Gleeson is heading back to Saints with a transfer fee involved, hence the reason why he is not playing on friday. The transfer will be completed next week aparantly.

Its probably just a wind up but my pal doesn't really go in for stuff like that.

Dont shoot me though, im just passing on info/bull.

Just seen Gleeson at the ground walking to his car - seemed to have no effects of injury however im no doctor - was on his mobile maybe he was negotiating his Saints contract

What a disgrace!
Circa £200,000 transfer fee for a player who's career looked to be in tatters: banned from playing; name dragged through the mud; doubts whether a top club would ever touch him with a bargepole, etc.
Then Warrington are gracious enough to allow him to train with the first team squad, despite not being able to play due to his ban, causing no end of disruption, no doubt, simply so he could be fit to prolong his international career.
Following that, the club are 'sympathetic' to his desires to play in the NRL and are willing to release him a year early from his contract to allow him to go to the NRL and THIS is how he repays the club? Cloak and dagger negotiations with Sintelluns? The club that just tossed him aside during his hour of need? Again, it's a disgrace.

What was the point of including him in the 19 man squad if there was no intention of playing him?

Reserves game is cancelled.

Do you watch the reserves much Panties ? Or is a Saturday a bad day for you like with stuff to do at the stables, weighing room etc. I try to watch them when I can like, Saturdays like, sometimes I go scaring ponies from behind a tree.

Union is played by people who close airports after a bit of snow, League is played by people who would go and have a snowball fight with a 747

Didn't William Webb Ellis pick up the ball and run, someone should really tell Rugby Union.
