I don’t think he’s played first team for Saints as he’s been out on dual reg. so I assume he will be a squad filler. Sounds like he has potential but needs to iron out some issues in his game.

Signing ‘potential’ is very much different to signing a ‘squad filler’.
Everyone we sign must be ready, or have the raw skill set to be ready in the future. We don’t sign anyone to make up squad numbers.

Still not confirmed so we shall see, Dwyers one of those players that if he performed consistantly he would cause a lot of problems for opposition.
But he performs in patches and i think he overplays sometimes where if Burgess can calm him down a bit he would be a handy player. And i don't want Walker to be overplayed and burn out.

its been 6 years since dwyer left us, he doesn't look any different to how he played back in 2017 when he was dropped by smith for dec patton as bench hooker.

i'd say its very very unlikely he's going to change*

the asterisk....the one percent chance of change is the mickey higham rule, i wasn't a massive fan of his, he was a scooter, but weirdly 2013 up until him leaving he was fab and was a man of steel candidate in one of those years.

ha ha yeah i'm hoping he'll be in that 1% category as well, Ratchford would do an ok job at hooker but would much prefer a specialist hooker, easier said than done though

As I put on here a couple of weeks ago, I was told Dwyer hadn't signed despite me thinking he already had. Since then I've been told that he has, & that he hasn't. Apologies for being cryptic, but I can't say much more on here. I've mentioned to a few people on here via DM's that i'll write a book about what I know about the club one day akin to Peter Hook's tales of running The Hacienda. The Dwyer re-signing (or not) will get a chapter.
