Is it top 6?
Or 4/5?

Gives him a rest before their derby. Not hard to orchestrate is it. I've been skeptical of this for years. Who independently verifies that 'injury', head injuries aside?

What?
No one independently verifies them, whoever said injuries needed to be independently verified? If saints wanted to rest wallmsley they just wouldn't pick him, not go to some weird machiavellian scheme to leave themselves short at prop 1 minute into a game when they've been going through patchy form and struggling with forwards being out.

What possible benefit does this give Saints? If he needed a rest, don’t play him. They only have to justify it if they pull a stunt like they did against Bradford all those years (Betfredgate).

| I was surprised by the scoreline on thursday night. I felt it was set up to be a close game and that Leigh had a good chance of beating Wigan at home. I haven’t been impressed much by Wigan so far but they moved up a gear i thought. Possibly because of a reshuffle and Cust not playing who has been dreadful. I agree that their main threat comes from Field & French. And everybody says ‘take them out of the team and they’re nothing’. But the fact is they are in the team (ok Field is injured now) and i expect them to possibly beat Saints next friday. It’s clear we are possibly in a 3 horse race already.
I’m hoping we still have an edge of Saints & Wigan in that our forwards have been more dominant and our attack has been far superior to theirs..

Hopefully Powell recognises that we need to peak at the right time. I'm enjoying the quality we're showing at the moment though. Long may it continue.'"
Make every post a winning one is my preference.
More likely to with a GF finishing top than 5th.

Hopefully this is a little lull in form for them that continues through to next week.

Looking at the lineup’s think they only had a couple missing, don’t know if it’s down to injury or just resting players.

McNamara claimed there was huge disruption in the week that upset things, but wouldn't go into what he meant by that. Maybe Myler wants to return.

I thought it would be much closer Acouple of things influenced the outcome, first some amazing bits of luck especially benefitting French. Second Hardaker had an absolute “mare” at fullback. Not the whole story but very significant.
I wonder which Yorkshire team Hardaker is angling for now?
