That's just bizarre. Not sure whether he's an eccentric prima donna or has mental health / social issues, but it sounds like Burgess respects him as a good player, just maybe not as a typical 'Burgess-last-man-standing' type player. The team comes first and if that means we persevere with Wrench and Ratchford (Lindop?) then so be it. Ive got faith in Burgess to get the best out of what we've got.
Shame, as I thought he'd turned a corner with his year away in a different environment.

It's absolutely nothing to do with the latter and absolutely everything to do with the former. He's a whiny prima-donna who spent last season on loan at a team that ultimately ended up winning Super League, he's now had to return to a club he quite obviously doesn't want to be at (good job he's not an actor as he'd be a pretty **** one!) and because he's had to come back, he's moping around the place and has done sod all since he's been back. Every time he takes the field his expression is of someone who's being forced at gunpoint to play, and when he scores, his celebrations are about on par with someone who's dog has been run over. It's now gotten to the stage where he's feigning injury just so he doesn't have to play.
I'm with Wire71 on this; if he's not committed to the cause, then give his shirt to someone who would be willing to bleed for the club. I'm more than happy to drive the 212 miles down to Warrington, and then drive him to wherever the hell he is so desperate to go. The sooner the club gets shut of him, the better.
