The optimists will again be saying let's see how we rebuild and go again against Hudds next week. We'll stutter past them and likely make more of a game of it than we should. Because we know no better. Look at today, stains showed up and dismantled them professionally. We are just blunt and clueless. I was going to say "see what next week brings" but we say that every week and there's zero improvement.

I have only listened to the match & there seemed to be quite a lot of the team never mentioned as doing anything of note. Has Clark been reduced to a bit part player? I'm sure his experience would have been useful in longer minutes on the pitch today.
Wasn't there supposed to be a plan for fetching youth through at the Wire ? We are playing with an aging team who will never get any better & these battering ram forwards are only ok if you can keep them available to play ,providing they want to put in a shift.

As a Manchester City fan of some 46 years, thankfully, the days of typical City are few and far between.
As a Wire fan of some 44 years, alas, the days of typical Wire are still with us, and don't show any time of ending.

Last week, Wigan and Saints showed why they are top teams, who know how to grind out victories. In the first half, we were little better than average. Luckily, the swear filter will avoid anybody with a sensitive nature being affected, though some will still be upbeat, over our second half "performance" .


That Hull try around the mark sums us up. ZERO pressure on the kicker, and precious little on the catcher.
