I still don’t believe the rumours that he has a deal with Saints, I would have thought we were still talking with him and Currie.

The only talking we should be doing with Currie is telling him he's no longer required after this season.

There's always rumours ... But there seems to be a new one about George Burgess possibly coming to Warrington.... I seriously hope that's a nonsense one and he's only visiting to do his shopping as he makes Clark come across as 100% injury free in comparison

Halliwell Jones hurriedly removing P Sculthorpe from the side of that old 5 series and chalking*on G Burgess.

I hope the G Burgess rumour is utter cobblers as I thought these kind of signings (thankfully) were a thing of the past now.

What’s confusing about this Burgess rumour is the message coming out from the club was about how they going to take their time to find the right player. Just hope it is what it says it is a RUMOUR.

Plus we’re not likely to get a prop elsewhere that’s decent. May as well take a calculated risk with the shortfall in the cap until the end of 23, see how he goes. It’s not as if we have anything to lose by it.
Can’t be any worse than Mikaele in 22, and look how he went after injury fitness woes and finding his mojo.

Didn't play for Wigan due to injury.. then retired with the same injury having played only 8 games for St George....this one needs a swerve ... He will want a payday based upon past reputation and will be out for the season after 10 innocuous mins

Pay his airfare then “pay as you play” deal. Obviously on a “per minute” basis.
