The players should have been able to beat a 12 man Wigan with or without a coach, it's basic rugby 101. All to easy to blame Powell for this there were 13 men on the pitch and only 2/3 can hold their head up high after today's game but it was clearly all on Powell he was forcing passes dropping balls and missing tackles...I'm not defending Powell but it's just a cop out to blame the coach for the players inability to Handle the pressure. Infant I'm sure at half time that he told the players more of the same !!

Oh, come on. Firstly, he picked the 17 and I think everyone agrees Matautia at half and Kasiano starting doesn't work.

The body language of some of the players is lousy and their mental toughness non-existent. They thought they could get away with 70% and got found out.

Where does that mental drive, focus, tenacity and desire come from? Who should instill it in every training session, team meeting, event and game? Who should scrurinise the squad and matchday data and see who lacks composure in key moments, and address it?

Go on, have a guess.

The only players today not signed or re-signed by the coach, who himself confirmed that he was in charge of recruiting, were Clark and Philbin.

Who is responsible for these players being underprepared, underperforming and lacking resilience if not those employed to do that work?

Are we signing bad players, are we tired after an exhausting 7 week sprint at the start of the year or is something wrong, particularly in the big games.

Because that’s not good enough, today. Dean might not be ready, but he’s a 7. Pete might be ready, but he’s absolutely not a half. Sending out the only fit halfback partner on loan the week we need a halfback, having recalled him to replace the same player who was missing in the first place is madness.

After last seasons rapidly revolving door of more bad apples than in a cider farms reject bin, this is Powell's team, his collection of players. Yet we still do not seem to be motivated enough (or fit enough) to have any line speed needed to put away a 12 man team, in knockout rugby. I agree that Powell didn't keep giving away possession, but he's put the vast majority of this squad together and picks the match day 17.

I’m done with DP.

His tenure has been a disaster.

If he can’t prepare, motivate and inspire his team to play and compete in the biggest game of the season thus far then he has no place at a club like Warrington.

That was a dirty performance. One of the worst I’ve ever seen, and I’ve seen a few.

Warrington, you need to appoint a proven winner of a coach.
