Perhaps winning your first 8 games was the worst thing for some of your fans as it's lead a few of you to believe that you should win every week. Its a competitive league this year. I think any of 6 or 7 sides could win the LLS GF or CC and you're one of them.

Being second in the league and in the last 8 of the cup are great strides from last season. To win the GF (our Golden Fleece) we need a great deal more grit and determination from every player and every member of the back room, sadly we are lacking that in certain areas. Hull were much more enthusiastic and as such had more determination to win. Every team we play wants to beat us and therefore DP has to be able to instill higher levels of grit and determination pre game and within the game, if he cannot then there is only one way it will finish and we cannot afford that.

Mad how the discussion around Warrington has gone from 'Can anyone stop them/Can they go unbeaten?' to 'Is Powell going next or McGuire?' in the space of a few weeks.

It's a big test of Powell this. If he can get through this latest scandal and stabilise the team and get you back on a run for the Play offs he'll have done well. Big test. Even without McGuire you've still got the players to win trophies.
