despite the ducks attempt at making this thread about him...... no one wants to see patton fail.

the truth is though, he is a steady HB when he sticks to the simple stuff..... But he will never have that touch of wizardy about him... he will never have a great kicking game... He will never light up the HJ...If he really works hard, he can be a decent steady HB with a long SL career..... and there's nothing wrong with that.

Its a bit like Gareth O'brien again... but possibly a bit better.

spot on...if he had genuine pace he'd be a very good halfback....as he is...he's a steady half.

very poor for me again..... doesn't seem to be developing at all..... Still makes basic errors... Bit of a liability if were being honest.

I was hoping a prolonged run in the team would bring something out we haven't seen before... But 10 games in....... absolutely nothing.

Still, he is good at singing warrington songs i suppose.

Price will hook him as soon as there's a viable alternative and rightly so. Simply not good enough and never will be.

Kevin Brown has been selected to play for England by arguably the greatest coach of the past 30 years. I think its safe to say he is a better rugby player than Dec Patton.

I've stated before that I don't rate either KB or DP that highly. But, if fit, KB would be an option.
