If you look at the recognised forwards at the start of the season 8-19. Harrison, Clark, Vaughan, Currie, Nicholson, McGuire, Kasiano, Philbin, Walker, Dudson, Mikaele and Bullock - Out of 21 games, league and cup, the only game where Powell has been able to either rest or drop any forwards was round 13 vs. Leigh (McGuire's second brain explosion) where Bullock missed out without any reported injury.

The part at the bottom sounds like us, guess that’s how most our recruitment is done. Let’s go down to Lidl and see what’s in the middle aisle.

Like all clubs, we get them from a variety of sources ... including Championship, NRL & Clubs above us. All signings can't all be like George Williams. A few months back Wigan signed Ryan Hampshire which seemed a bit strange but they thought they needed some cover at the time.
We have been thin in the back row all season.

Yes, it is loan deal until the end of this season.

He has signed for Castleford for 2024, and with both Wakefield and Cas locked into a relegation battle, Wakey decided that it is best to let him go elsewhere so that they don`t have an enemy in the camp.

It isn’t rocket science, offer more money than someone else and you’ll likely get your man. Anyone see the Blake Austin interview from the weekend saying he couldn’t believe how much cash we offered him and he could have got even more?
