We were better than we have been i thought, which isnt hard....but still a way off for me. Hull werent great despite the Sky love in.....
Our last tackle options were poor...but saying that we did well considering Kendalls performance. Id say, Rachford not slotting the 1 before half time was poor, but again, we showed some great skill to score 10 mins from time. That last try decision was pathetic.
Hopefully we kick on from here, at least the effort was there. We have a long way to go. I have faith that Powell will get it right with time. Just hoping the board afford him the time to do it....

I know there are issues in camp, and the players involved with it, but i fully expect Powell to get it sorted.

We go again Saturday.....

Give a performance like that on Saturday against Huddersfield I think we.ll win anything less we won't...

Not for me to expand on it in honesty.....and ive had a beer so maybe should of worded it differently....

All il say is, im lead to believe there are a group of players not buying into his methods the way he wants to work...all part of the culture change he wants to instill. Very much a work in progress by all accounts.

Worst set of forwards in the whole of SL and it’s says a lot when Aston probably makes more yardage taking the ball up.Will struggle make the top 8.

Any players not playing to their ability or in line with the coaches direction need to be dropped and put on loan. I'd rather lose with a good camp than lose with a bad one.

Absolutley agree. Its what Smith did. Gleeson gone and he threatened Briers with Barrow on loan....

The recent pathetic performances don't happen with a good group. Our youngsters showed that the other year against Salford.

No probably about it. He makes 9.3m average gain, 2nd only to Conor Wrench.

Philbin makes a poor 6.5 and J Clark < 6.0.

Cooper has decent prop figures with 8.3

Stats may suggest that Philbin was poor this afternoon but I don't think he was. He still needs to be better but he clearly tried to run better lines and ran hard IMO. Cooper is still our best, bullock made 1 bad PTB error but was good otherwise, mulhern ran hard and was solid.
