As a Saints fan , I obviously have plenty experience losing at Old T and over the last 6 years have seen trouble nearly every year .
The worst year was against Leeds 3 years ago , I believe its on you tube . Also heard a Leeds fan got thrown off the upper tier. I spent 80 mins getting abuse from Wigan supporters around me.
Also against Wigan two years ago we had to try and defend my 68 yr old mother and 5 year old from a fight which started by goading Leeds 'fans' (had Leeds shirts anyway) in the row in front of us.

Segregation of the playing teams fans should be looked at .

What I don't understand , I went to Magic all weekend - same city - fans could sit anywhere - drink all day/evening . I never saw one bit of trouble , had a good laugh with all teams speccy's (even the French) . It was a real carnival of RL and enjoyed every minute . Maybe I was just lucky ?

But wait, "fatbaztod" said that there wasn't any trouble at all and the only reason there was this year was because of the Wire fans. So what you are saying is that he is lying? Why would he do that? I mean, according to Odenwingie (a Wigan fan), Wire fans are the scum of the earth.

Where is he anyway? Is he unable to type due to over exertion of both wrists due to our defeat last night?

The Magic weekend was on the whole attended by RL fans that actually give a toss about the image of the game...These neanderthals see a Final within a short train ride of their home, on a Saturday with a 6pm kick off as a chance just to get on the pi$$ and act up..
The segregation idea needs to be looked at and an afternoon kick off would help too IMO..

Defo feel the difference from Wembley alot more tension in the air and that was before you got in.

Pockets of people goading was stupid I think if we had won the Widnes tvvats near us would of been jumped on.
