Got my Season Ticket today for 2011, and found out that the 2011 kit will be released in November some time, but there isn't a specific date yet.
I study graphic design etc and college and it's all about marketing, you use similar colours and images all over your products to make people instantly think of that brand/company.
Now, this is where I get most probably ripped to shreds for being wrong, BUT... The paper booklet of the Season Ticket (Inside the plastic casing) is Primrose. It has a blue V in the middle going from the top Left & Right down to the bottom Middle. Down one side was blue with Lupus Non Mordet Lupum written in white.
So it makes me think going back to brand awareness... Are we going to have a Primrose top with a Blue V? Blue down the sides/under the arms and the main sponsor under the point of the V?
Rumours at the minute that our new sponsor is either Bensons for Beds, o2 or infact that we are sticking with Vestas... o2 would be a very good one to have with a Yellow top - The blue o2 sign would constrast well.
Anyway, that's just my theorys on the new tops after seeing the season tickets etc.
I don't know, just what I've heard going around mate. We do however have a 10% off Voucher off a new bed @ ... Bensons for Beds. That's probably where people got that idea from.
Me: I'm still reeling from the news that someone is considering watching the 1st and 3rd game on Saturday and NOT watching Warrington play. It's like being in Shea Stadium when the Beatles came to town and deciding to nip out for a fag.
knockersbumpMKII: Is it FOOK, you're good but you're not THAT good, jesus you wanky fans need to get over yourselves, Beatles at the Shea in '65 was a once in a lifetime opportunity for some (despite the following years performance), you can watch a very good team in primrose & yellow play every week if you really wanted to but comparing it to one of the very best music groups of all time in an iconic stadia such as the shea is overegging your importance, you're not even the best team in SL atm
I'd prefer us to be sponsored by Microsoft but as we play a minority sport in the NW of England the chances of that are probably quite slim. 'Bout the same as 02.
