Is that the new "world class"? How can something be perfectly good?
Surely it's perfect or it isn't.
It isn't.
Our attendance is fine. It isnt perfect or it would be at capacity every week but we have a very good attendance despite what ill informed people think.

i think the point he is trying to make is that with the trophies you have been winning year in year out it's suprising you don't sell out every home game

not really because no one does. We are a tin pot little town with a population of 170,000 ish half of which are either un-employed, drunks, druggies or work at Maccies. Its a wonder that we get as much as 1 in 13 through the gates TBH.

what do you reckon when you're in finals are they just glory hunters?

course they are and they are rife.
A couple of seasons ago, at work I had a guy say to my "I thought you were a proper fan". The reason? I told him I wasnt going to the 07 Grand final for some reason or other. The funny thing is that is the only game he went to that season....he meant it as well, it didnt even click with him. There are loads like that and at every club too.

Half the people who live in Warrington support Saints...

we have got em but we have got very good support normally hence why this thread started it was very poor againest bradford i know our performances have been bad but even in the past we've had a good following i think because of our signings the expectations have been high
It is quite laughable that Huddersfield fans think they have any right to criticise attendances, both home and away.
Huddersfield University receive hundreds of free tickets for each game, bumping up the attendances. Let's not forget that a well performing Huddersfield took a massive couple of hundred at most a few miles up the road to Odsal a few weeks ago.
As for Saints....
How can the world class super duper Saints not fill KR every week with their recent success?
Last I saw we were in the top 4 for average attendances so far this season which isn't bad and a definite increase of recent seasons. So far this season we are averaging over 13,000 we got 10,600 last season so getting anything over 11k overall this season I would be happy with.
I am sure most fans would love to see more people at the games but things are heading in the right direction which is a start.

How can you utilise an average barely a quarter of the season, unless you did a direct comparison of the corresponding fixtures from last season?

As I am bored then -
v wire 2009 – 17,009 ..... 2008 – 13,397
V Hull KR - 11,830 ..... 2008 – 8,404
V Salford - 9,723 ..... 2007 – 9,409
V Leeds - 13,966 ..... 2008 – 11,188
V Hull FC - 13,684 ..... 2008 – 10,204
Average 13,242 ...... 10,520
For Salford I have used the 2007 attendance due to the lack of one for 2008. Of course the time in the season and other factors will have an impact but I think you can see that overall we aren't doing bad so far for showing an increase on corresponding fixtures.
