More like the Stone Roses' Second Coming. Inconsistent, but with moments of genius that should be lauded for what they are.

in all honesty i didn't go to salford but from what i heard salford played quite well and their subsequent results suggest they are currently playing better than bradford.

im sorry but if you honestly think that bradford were anything but awful last night then you need to have a word with yourself.

POINT IS.....

If every one thought we were gonna beat a woefull bratfud, why didn't you all go to the match?

a win a odsal no matter how poor the team is worth anything, you saw the team sheet for bratfud and still thought it was gonna be tough, woe full oposition or not. wire played well against 13 international players!

could it be.. i don't know... we made them woefull with high presure rugby , good tactics and passion, yes passion , the thing every one on here has been moaning about for weeks on end.

have a word with yourself please!

I don't think anybody has suggested otherwise to be honest.....I think the crux of the Briers argument is that its obvious to everybody, even his critics, which include me, that since Smith's arrival he has certainly perked up.

I agree that last night turned into a glorified exhibition match, but even I can admit that Briers shone brighter than most, and if it was that easy, why wasn't Monaghan looking like the class player we all believed him to be?

I have my doubts about Briers, and still believe he should go at the season's end, but nothing would give me more pleasure than to see him produce top notch displays on a weekly basis.

Slim, I dont doubt at all that the wire performance last night was much much improved in terms of quality, defence, discipline and enthusiasm.

However, Bradford were not at the races and the game itself was over as a contest after about 20 mins.

As much as we were good bradford were bad.

When did I say that Bradford were anything other than poor? Salford were poor as well i my opinion, it just happened that we were even worse. Monas was also not special last night but given that our pack was on top LB was able to perform and that he did. All we can ask is that he deals with what he is dealt with and last night he did.
