This is not unsurprising. Imagine his CV.
He would need to blank out years with "travelling" like this chap I knew did when he was at HMP.

| Quote karetaker="karetaker"Just found this one, not sure if he as been mentioned before.
After revealing last week he didn’t have any offers and was hungry to continue playing, South Sydney prop David Tyrrell looks set to join the Super League.
It’s understood he’s attracted some interest, with Warrington one club keen on signing the 2014 premiership winner.
At 28, Tyrrell has played more than 150 first grade games.'"
Dave "the squirrel" Tyrell is not good enough to be a quota player.

I think he'd suit us, I always thought he was a tough nuggety prop hard to put down. Not much to his game other than strong running from what I can remember.
But he's at the very least on a par with Sims, and hes younger ( and is built like a front rower should be) and would be a decent starting prop with Hill.
I wouldn't be disappointed with signing him.

| With Dwyer going to Leeds. We are going to be a hooker short. Would Andy Ackers of London be worth resigning? He looks very good. Good enough as a backup for Clark.

Based solely on what I'm watching right now I wouldn't say no.

Ackers used to play for us. We released him as far as I recall.

| The two forgotten men, Penny and Blythe have been confirmed for leaving the club.
Feel sorry for both, lack of wolves playing time can't have helped their prospects for employment next season
