Former Australian International & State of Origin representative Mark 'Spudd' Carroll's comments about McGuire in 2019 appear to speak volumes. They're in the public domain (so no issue on that front) along with a list of indiscretions during his NRL career.

If there is any truth in any of the Maguire rumours then this is just another example of a long line of events that has more drama over the last 8 or so years than Emmerdale.
Wigan have had their fair share of Drama over recent years but it is how you deal with it. From memory didn't the season when the Tomkins brothers had their night out end up with wigan beating us in the GF. Then there was the Bateman incident.

Whatever the outcome this group of players needs to put their big boy pants on. It would be unacceptable if it spiralled out of control like last year.

On bbc sport website rumoured to facing another lengthy ban for unacceptable language.
If so club should sack him with immeduate effect.

If mcguire's contract is terminated, we should offer some of that money to Clark to make him renege on his saints deal. People saying Danny walker is now our number 1 hooker need their heads testing. Losing Clark is going to be a bigger blow than anybody seems to realise.

It’s not the money for Clark.
He’s walking away from marquee money and a testimonial to take up a 2 year deal at Saints on less money but with a guarantee he will be first choice 9.
