Widdop is making a fantastic case for being the biggest wage thief in SL history, isn't he?..



Absolute waste of time in his 3 years with us, now seeing his backside at Cas.

How he made himself a very reasonable career in the NRL is absolutely baffling.

Widdop was a good player in the NRL. His best days were behind him when he reached us and injuries and Covid disruptions didn’t help.

I agree. But the version of Widdop that we have seen in Super League has been mediocre, to say the least - AND he's been mediocre on some very decent wages.

I love a good guessing game.

He would be a brilliant signing!!

I think since his arrival in England, Widdop has had a few personal issues regarding his family and not seeing the kids.
I know he’s a professional player but things like this don’t help plus recurring shoulder injuries.

I’ve not really kept up with how he’s been doing the last couple of years in the NRL. Don’t remember him standing out in the World Cup, but can’t be too bad if he’s still making the squad.

Didn’t he want to be at home to be closer to his kid/kids who lived with his ex? Or did I dream that?
