I can speak only of Barba because there is nothing pending....he couldn't be charged because his wife refused to press charges.
If that can be applied to another player...he will be innocent and if there is some moral battle....pretty sure the club will have to honour the contract in some way.

Aside from the serious allegations,is he actually any good as a player? Seems a myth,to me.

Not necessarily there maybe evidence or information that will identify the sevirity of injury. Sometimes expert opinion is required that is not always necessarily available. In addition there could be lines of enquiry that still need to be followed up before a decision to charge a person is considered by CPS

So it still has to be investigated and isn’t clear cut?
