I'm not quite sure what is going on at Wigan. They have a new wealthy backer involved, but look reluctant to spend any money at all on players. The academy players they have coming through are okay, but not world beaters, and they need to invest a bit and recruit externally.

Wigan....2 points 1 points no points, 2 year suspended by a company that was working ‘independently’ but under the payroll of both parties...that was concurrent anyway in term. So nothing.

This is an overly simplistic and annoying point you keep making.

If there was such a blatant breach of the cap, the RFL would undoubtedly do more about it.

And I wouldn't want Warrington tarnished with that reputation.

Quite, the clubs have agreed that administrative cock ups or other tiny breaches of the cap will be dealt with by fines. But systematic or deliberate large breaches will see the club get dealt with very severely.

I do not want my team to cheat it’s way to victory RD, I think (but don’t know) that the owners have similar standards. I would be gutted if we won a Grand Final and then foun£ out we had bust the Salary Cap do it.
