Very true. The troubles that 35 year old, current PFA Player of the Year Ryan Giggs has had with his hamstrings has wrecked his 800+ appearances career at Man Utd.
What a player he could have been without those blasted hamstrings, we'll just never know.
The reason Ryan Giggs career has been prolonged is because United have managed his hamstring injury well, over the years especially since Nani and Evre arrived Giggs has been starting on the bench more and more just like in the 2008 Champions league final where he only came on as a sub at the end with just a few minutes remaining.
More often than not Ronaldo and Park usually start wide left and wide right and they switch round during the game, Rooney has also been playing wide left where United have seen some of his best form.
United have always had a massive squad thats full of quality so they can afford to rest Giggs or any other player as they always have cover, can we do the same with Lee Briers by simply resting him on a regular basis when he isn`t even injured to protect his hamstring ?
Can we afford to start Lee Briers on the bench on a regular basis to again give his hamstring a rest ?
Anyway, why do we need Brian Carney who is a RIGHT winger when we have just given Chris Hicks a RIGHT winger a new contract ?
