Ratchford is not an organising half-back and neither is Austin. Brown, on reasonable form, is the better bet.

Absolutely. We need a classic little cheeky half-back who can steer the troops round the park... He doesn't even need to attack the line as we have Austin for that.

Also, Ratchford has finally proven that he's more than a jack-of-all-trades, and playing consistently at No.1 he's shown he can be the best British fullback in this league. I don't include Hardaker in that assessment as you can't count on him being available to play.

Inu would definitely not do for me. His form at Catalans was mediocre, and injury excuses aside, he's been poor for Widnes.

I've absolutely not issue with Austin and Ratchford in the halfs.
I'm also happy to give Patton an extended run at 7 with Austin in the halfs.
