I watched my first bit "punditry" in years, tonight.
Apparently, Cats were "really unlucky" to lose 8-24 the other week.

Solid display, last tens mins it was virtually attack against defence on our line. We did well to stay composed and keep them at bay. Cup games always tricky against sides like Catalans, onto the Semi’s next!

On another side note...We should be signing up Mamo and King on long term better deals ASAP, another good display from them both. Mamo is a threat with his pace and seems to of ironed out the mistakes in his game previously, covers a lot of positions too. I just hope he keeps his spot in the side now, whether that be at centre or on the wing.

King is undoubtedly, along with Clark and Widdop is one of our best this year, constantly looks dangerous with the ball in hand creates and scores try’s nearly every week. Far to good to be letting go to another club.

Interesting to listen to jon wells shitting on us, considering he's apparently on his way.

That bottom burp just could not bring himself to give us any credit. When is he going .... can't be soon enough

All this ballyhoo about the size and power of the Cats pack and up step Coops and Hilly, the best forwards on the pitch by a country mile. Not a peep from Wellsbottom.

Fantastic team performance with outstanding defence throughout.

Our front 3 are the best in the league. Wouldn't swap em for any others.

The improvement in Hill this year has been massive.

Makes a difference having some decent replacements, that are being used properly, and for a 5 minute sit down for chilly and coops.

That being said, I've thought philbin hasn't been as good this year, even when returning to the bench. Though he made team of the week recently so what do I know

It was so good to get our noses well and truly in front.
Games are so tight in the modern day. Our defence was superb and the Catalan score was a bit of a fluke.
Inglis was not tested much but he looked very solid catching the odd high ball.

We’ve been less reliant on a power burst from a backrower or short dummy run from Clark now the backs are freed up from Widdop and Ratchford.
Philbin looks content to concentrate some of the dirty stuff along with Jace Clark and Hughes, in which case, he isn’t going to light up the same.
I was listening to 5live commentary with the game, Nobby did pick out Philbin for his contribution, I guess, a coach eyes see far mare than a commentary journalist does.

To be honest I don't think Philbin has that much impact at prop, he runs hard but gets bounced around a bit. I'd prefer to see him at interchange 2nd row really, I think he would cause the opposition a lot more problems from there.

I like a backrower to have decent hands. Philbin falls down in that area a little. I’m happy to see him in the role he is in, it was good enough to get him a GB call up.
